Thank you for your interest in our scholarship program. Please read this page carefully. We will be asking you to sign the application stating that you have read and understand this information. Please contact Brokaw Credit Union (BCU) if you have questions.
Two scholarships of $300 each will be awarded to a graduating high school senior planning to continue their education at a four-year university or two-year technical trade school.
- Applicants must have been a BCU member in good standing for six months or longer. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4-point scale.
- Selection criteria may include, but is not limited to: GPA, and completed essays.
- Complete applications must be submitted to a Brokaw Credit Union office by the close of business on Thursday, March 18, 2010, for consideration by the selection committee. The selection committee will be made up of BCU member-volunteers and staff members.
All applicants must complete parts 1 and 2 of the application form. The Application form must be completed and signed.
All applicants must submit a minimum of one letter of recommendation from a non-related person of their choice. Applicants may include other additional information that could help the selection committee in its decision. Your application will not be accepted if your application is not signed. Faxed information will not be accepted. Applications not completed according to this procedure will be disqualified.
- The scholarship will be paid jointly to the recipient and the educational institution they are attending.
- Decisions of the Brokaw Credit Union Scholarship committee are final.
